Suspected drone activity triggers alerts on Latvian and Estonian borders

Unresolved-origin alert cluster

Overnight on 3 June 2026 suspected drone (UAV) activity triggered alerts in the eastern border regions of both Latvia and Estonia. Civil warnings were issued and NATO fighters responded. Precise flight tracks were not published.

The number and identity of the objects remain unresolved. A foreign origin was suspected but has not been established for each object, and no wreckage or definitive attribution has been reported.

No impact or casualties were confirmed. The alerts in the two countries are treated as one cross-border cluster, because individual tracks cannot be counted reliably.
