Drone detections and debris finds in Estonia’s Tartu County and Finland
· Tartu County · Finnish border
Multi-country cluster
Between 31 March and 1 April 2026 drone detections and suspected incursions were reported in Tartu County, Estonia, and debris was found at a separate, unspecified site in Finland’s border area. These dates mark a reporting window, not precise crash dates, and the number of objects involved is unresolved.
Estonia assessed the drones in its case as Ukrainian drones intended for Russia, and reporting associated the border activity with further strikes in Russia. Attribution has not been established for every find in Finland. The available detail is not enough to match each track to each recovered object, so it is not known whether the sightings involved one drone or several.
No casualties were reported. Military and border authorities carried out searches and a technical examination of the finds.

Attribution and uncertainty
