Greece reports five airspace violations by six Turkish UAVs in Aegean

Greek-authority-reported Turkish UAV airspace violations
On 10 October 2026 Greece’s military (GEETHA) reported six Turkish military UAVs over the northeastern, central and southeastern Aegean, with five violations of national airspace and eight infringements of the Athens flight information region (FIR). OnAlert published the account that evening, and DefenceNet repeated it early on 11 October; both describe the same day’s activity.
The Turkish identification and the national-airspace assessment are GEETHA’s, and the Greek-Turkish airspace dispute remains relevant. No tracks or boundary assessments have been independently verified. Models, armament and payload were not established.
The drones were identified and intercepted under standard procedures. No shoot-down, weapons engagement, crash, casualties or damage were reported. The figures count different things and are not separate incidents.
