Karwia beach wreckage identified as a Polish test drone; excluded from register

Confirmed domestic Polish drone; excluded from the foreign-drone register

Excluded from the map and totals. Poland’s defence minister identified the wreckage as a domestic Polish test drone from exercises near Ustka. It does not qualify as a foreign-drone event. This page preserves the correction and its sources.

Poland’s defence minister identified the wreckage found on Karwia beach on 13 October 2026 as a Polish test drone. He said it had been destroyed during drone and counter-drone exercises near Ustka several weeks earlier, and that the sea later washed its fragments ashore.

The discovery was initially recorded here as an unidentified candidate because its origin was unresolved. The official domestic identification reported on 14 October resolves that question. On review on 15 October, the record was removed from the map, replay and foreign-drone totals.

This page keeps its original address and sources so readers can see the correction. The discovery date remains 13 October; the earlier training destruction is not a new shoot-down on that date. The exact drone model and test date were not disclosed in the reviewed reports.
